Our Mission

The Concussion Literacy Project provides clear, evidence-based education for athletes, families, coaches, schools, and anyone affected by mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). We connect extensive athletic experience with peer-reviewed science so people can recognize symptoms early, seek appropriate care, and make safer decisions.

Our goal is safer, faster, and more consistent responses to concussion across homes, teams, classrooms, and workplaces. Success means earlier recognition, normalized reporting, care that aligns with current evidence, and practical support for anyone living with mTBI so people can return to learning, work, and sport with confidence.

Mission

Vision

It is our strong belief that awareness is a form of prevention, and that informed communities are safer, stronger, and more empowered to advocate for care. We pair real stories with current science to give athletes, families, and communities clear guidance on concussion. Although our work centers on sports, our resources support anyone navigating mild traumatic brain injury.
